On January 8th 2011 the The Colts lead the Jets 7-0 at half. Sure the Colts should have scored more point. Now lets fastforward to the 4th quarter....
With a little over 2 minutes remaining Peyton's got the ball, down by two. We drive down the field but we run the clock all the way down. And do you want to know why? Because we had no running game. I am sick and tired of watching our Colts lose close games because we have to put it all on Peyton. If we had a guy who could pick up 5 yards a carry we wouldn't be in this situation. Thatswhy Mark Ingram is who i believe we should pick with the 22nd pick of the 2011 NFL Draft. He has got a hiesman and a national title to prove his success. He is a proven runner against the very best in college football. He is small but remind me alot of MJD. His toughness is what this colts running game needs most. While addai is a good option and reciver he isnt the running back we need. Lets go get a tough runner and next year close out close games with him. An imideate impact player is what we need after the Hughes bust of 2010 and thats exactly what Ingram is, an Impact player that we need to get Peyton one more ring.
