2010 NFL Pro Bowl: Colts C Jeff Saturday Added To Pro Bowl Roster
Colts Owner Jim Irsay tweeted this morning that C Jeff Saturday will be making his fifth Pro Bowl appearance, to be played Sunday evening in Honolulu.
Congrats to JEFF SATURDAY, named 2 the Pro Bowl roster this a.m---his 5th time on the squad!
With the Steelers winning on Sunday, their center Maurkice Pouncey will not be making the trip to the 50th state. Pouncey was actually injured during Sunday's game, so Saturday was going to be named to the roster regardless of the outcome.
Saturday will join Peyton Manning, Reggie Wayne, Dwight Freeney, and Robert Mathis in Hawaii. Antoine Bethea is also a first alternate to go, as Titans S Michael Griffin has already been named to the team.

Bethea
He should have been a starter in the Pro Bowl.

Still can't figure out
how Michael Griffin, who was pretty retched on the year, is there over Bethea. That doesn’t make any sense at all.

The picture
Since there isn’t much news worth reading today, I’m doing stuff like this in my free time.
So, the mini-helmet in that picture above. I can see Cato June’s signature, and I presume RD 71 is Mr. Diem. Any hypothesis as to who signed the helmet inside the Colts logo?
Also, go Jeff. It sucks that they’re in the Pro Bowl (a/k/a they’re not in the big game), but it should be interesting if they can get Manning/Saturday/Wayne on the field for a drive or two to put on a clinic for the rest of the league.
Good...
My second favorite Colt. I had my GF make me a customized Jersey for Saturday. I wear it far more often than my Official NFL Bob Sanders jersey (It’s bad luck to wear an injured players jersey on gameday).
Saturday is a beast.
good for him
is was the only constant on the O line this year
Meh
Congrats to Jeff, but I’m not sure he earned it this year. Too many times I saw him get blown up this year, and there was virtually no running game up the middle outside 3 or 4 games. I guess it makes up for earlier years where he should’ve made it however.
