The weekly honor to the player who best honors Eric Foster's incredible heart, determination and leadership.
This week's candidates are:
Curtis Painter: 15/27 for 277 yards, 2 touchdowns and an impressive 115.8 record.
- Painter jumped out to a hot start but cooled off dramatically in the second half as the offense stalled and failed to put up any points.
Pierre Garcon: 5 catches for 125 yards and 2 scores.
- Garcon has cut down on his maddening drops and has provided the Indy offense with its only real signs of life so far this season. His blistering speed is devastating for opposing defenses.
Pat Angerer: 15 tackles (4 solo)
- The NFL's leading tackler with 65 tackles, Anger is on an astonishing pace for over 200 tackles. If he reaches that feat, he would surely be in the running for defensive player of the year. Has a player on an 0-16 team ever won player of the year (joking...sorta).
