Last night it became offical. The Colts have hit rock bottom. Time and Time again, a team t(hat was evenly matched with us two years ago) kicked our teeth in. After a loss like that everyone is going to want answers and rightly so. I have a thought, that may sound crazy but would make us relevant...
First off, Iv been a Colts Fan since 2003. I'v been spoiled and I know it. This is my first year of my team truly sucking. Before this year, if the Colts lost, my immediate reaction was to set fire to small kittens or take a baseball bat to the TV. When we lost the Super Bowl two years ago, I didnt turn on the TV, radio, or any sports related sites for 3 weeks.
When it was announced Manning was done for the year, I knew it was going to be a rough season. I though I had numbed myself to the pain. Well last night opened a hole new can of hurt. And (as a previous article stated) Manning injury could be even worse than we had all feared! I truly think it is time to focus on a new QB. Build a new franchise.n However the question is, what do we do with Manning?
My though is this... Make him a coach. Should Manning not be able to play again. Why not? Hes one of the greatest to ever play the game, hes got a brilliant mind. The Colts need to clean house, and fire all the coaches. And bring in Manning as the Offensive Cordinator. I know this may sound crazy, but Manning would be a brilliant coach. He loves this team, so why not? Does anyone deny he would be a great coach? I think should the worse come, and Manning is done, make him our coach. He's proven hes the best to play this game, i think with Manning at a prominent coaching position, we could become the envy of the NFL for another 15 years. What do you think? Is it a crazy idea? Or one that make our team great again?
