I have been super busy lately, and a little out of the loop.
My friends told me yesterday in school that Peyton is getting MVP votes. I laughed initially, then put it into consideration. They didn't let up or laugh. They were being serious. Then I got to thinking, "Well, MAYBE he is. I mean, after all, the Colts are 0-7 without him after 239763 seasons of winning 11+ games."
So, my question to you guys is, is this legit? Is he really getting votes? Obviously not enough to win the trophy, that would be outrageous. But to be honest I would in no way be surprised if he came top 5 in voting. After watching the Colts this year, there is no doubt that he is among the most important players to his respective team.
Finally, I will use this post to take a very, very quick shot at anyone who still wants to fight over Manning v. Brady.
Tom goes down, Pats go 11-5. Manning goes down, we're 0-7, and hopeful we can MAYBE pull out 3 or 4 wins this year.
