Ask Chiefs Fans
Greetings Colts fans!
You'll be going up against a team that is 1-3 with a plethora of injuries and a depth chart that would make the XFL shake their heads.
Currently the Chiefs have a number of starters injured (I know you folks can relate and I'm sorry for that). RB Jamaal Charles, TE Tony Moeaki, S Eric Berry. All starters that are/were instrumental in the Chiefs going to the playoffs last year.
Playoffs? Playoffs? You want to talk about Payoffs? -Well, no. But stranger things have happened.
The match-up IMHO will be come down between the effectiveness of our QB's -Cassell vs. Painter.
So my questions start with:
How is your defensive secondary playing? (We have Bowe and Breaston that we are "hoping" will continue to play well)

Our secondary sucks
They play, who is farther from the WR… They also can’t tackle.

Ill put it this way...
If your left and right tackle are injured in any way. It will be a competitive game. If your offensive line is looking and feeling good, It’s going to be a long day for our team the Indianapolis …..Dolts. #suckforluck 2012!
Regarding Coach Haley
I admit I have not watch a lot of Chiefs games but everytime I do he is arguing with a player or another one of his coaches on the sidelines. Is this just the pompous Patriot’s DNA in him or is he just fiesty and passionate. My next question is: if the Chiefs could get Andrew Luck do you think they would move on from Matt Cassell or trade down for more picks.

If the Chiefs somehow were in a position to take Luck
Hopefully via trade-up, rather than going 1-15, they would absolutely take Luck, Cassel doesn’t have the confidence of the coach, frankly because he isn’t very good. He had some good games last year, but for the most part is wildly inconsistant. O/U on how many times Chiefs run the HB draw on 3rd and long this game should be around 8.5, and i’ll take the over.

Isn't that on the guy calling the plays?

I doubt if you will be in a postion to get Luck
but wouldn’t it be ironic if Cassell was replaced by another USC QB

Here's my concern...considering we all know the "Patriot Way" of drafting
I think if Pioli (our GM) has the first pick, he’ll trade down. That would be devastating to this fanbase….but what would be even worse, is if he got a LT instead of Luck.

Haley never coached with the Pats.
He was on Parcells’ staff with the Jets.

That explains the attitude.

Our Secondary is playing
GREAT. #1 in the league in pass defense. Really, the secondary is crap, if we didn’t have Antoine Bethea, we’d be so screwed. Our LBs back off since the secondary can’t defend a pass, then the field is open down the middle. It’s pathetic. As long as the Chiefs second TE can catch, we’re going to have a long day

If the Chiefs fans do not know Indy geography
Our secondary and LB’s play 20 miles away in Carmel on passing plays while the DL is in downtown Indy.

Well that's OK
We have a QB that only throws to his first read…..and they have to adjust to make those plays.

I'm curious as to why Indy possibly didn't look at getting a veteran QB once Peyton had surgery?
Then again I’m also confused as to why Miami didn’t get Garrard as well?

I should have clarified my statement.
Honestly, I’m surprised the Colts didn’t pick up Garrard. Surely there’s enough cap and IMHO Garrard > Collins.

I think Garrard wanted to go somewhere where he'd be the starter long term.
That’s not Indy.

also Irsay tweeted about this
he said that Garrard wanted too much money and it just wasn´t in the budget.
That is odd or maybe Garrard came to his senses
because I just heard on ESPN yesterday that he wanted only $1m a year to play for the Dolphins. Obviously all of this is after the Dolphins QB injury issues. The Fins only wanted to give him the league minimum so no deal. That would have been cheaper that Collins.

Totally unrelated.
Is anyone else sick of the piss poor pass defense in the league this year? It’s especially sad for me that Peyton doesn’t get to feast on it.
How does he do it?
How happy have you guys been with Garcon?
I really haven’t had a lot of opportunity to watch him play since we get Chiefs games in our market as well as AFC West games.
Is he playing up to his potential this year? If so is he been played enough?
The Chiefs seemed to rely heavily on our running game last year because of Charles’ strength at RB.

I have to ask this question.
Even though it’s not football related it’s KC related. I grew up in Lawrence, KS, a stones throw from KC and then moved to OK for college and have had this debate with some TX friends for a while. Which do you like better, KC BBQ or TX BBQ?
by Sanders_fan89 on Oct 6, 2011 9:51 AM EDT via mobile reply actions
KC BBQ > Memphis BBQ > Texas BBQ
IMHO. Memphians would get upset when I mentioned that, but I would reply that we have a BBQ sauce named after our city ;p
Actually, we just had the American Royal BBQ competition in KC. In case you didn’t know, it’s a yearly event where the entire parking lot at Kemper Arena has BBQ tents set up for the competition. Folks from around the country come in to compete. Really great stuff.
Game day at Arrowhead smells amazing and you can get a whiff of the parking lot food in the stadium. Listen to the announcers talk about it during the upcoming night game. The smell will probably be talked about more than the game.
