fisher is HIGHLY overrated as a coach. his asst coaches were a lot of the “talent”. why do you think people have not tossed tons of money to get him back? he also undermined his GM, players, etc. look at the stats and the coaches that went on to other gigs and what happened when he was left solo to steer the ship. just like parcells that ship sailed a long time ago.

gregg williams (one of the best DC in the NFL)
Jim Schwartz (another excellent defensive coach and doing a decent job in detroit)
Les Steckel (OC who convinced fisher to turn mcnair loose when fisher wanted to just run and coached them to franchise best yards and points)
and on a smaller scale (although titan fans will think differently) Alan Lowry who not only fielded excellent ST play but masterminded the ST of the decade.

wonder if this means nothing more than he is the scapegoat and caldwell, polian, etc will all be back. if the team wins even two games with a couple of excellent defensive efforts I think that’s the case. wonder if coyer will be an ex colts employee who will talk to bill kravitz about conditions at west 56th….
