Yes, we've gotten to that point when our team's punter is winning 'player of the week' honors.
Nothing against Pat McAfee's play this year, which has been very good, but when your punter is the best player on the team, it's a pretty clear sign your team is in the crapper.
McAfee set a franchise single-game record Sunday against the Falcons when he punted nine times for 451 yards. Does he deserve the award with an effort like that? Yes. Does the fact that our punter had more yards punting then our offense did moving the ball make me feel good?
No. In fact, it depresses the hell out of me.
