Peyton Manning's doctor said X-ray and CT examination of the surgical area shows fusion performed in September has achieved firm fixation.

However, there still is no timetable for Peyton Manning to return to practice, despite encouraging x-rays and CT scan.

First Hurdle Passed

As I expected: Peyton’s halfway back now. Will the nerves regenerate, and how many months before improvement in this area is seen? If no improvement is seen by March 5,
the Colts may have to release him or pay the $28 mil. I believe that we will know by the
end of January if there is enough nerve regeneration to warrant optimism. I assume that
if there is no progress, and Peyton is released, that other teams will come calling, and
that he would fail their physicals. How long would the Colts hold his rights if he then
officially retired? I’m guessing 3 years. In that dire circumstance, he could get better and
rejoin the Colts.
My bet is that Peyton will be back with the Colts for 2012, but not be 100%. Andrew Luck
would be excellent long-term insurance for this franchise. He could observe from the master in 2012 how it’s done. Thank you for this good news.

What to do with a number one pick

Baring any future set backs.

Hmmm… Rebuild with a now atitude, trading away Luck to the Highest bidder?

Who will be the Highest Bidder, what an offseason this will turn out to be

My prediction, Drama

Thanks for the info ya'll

Very encouraging news, that should make the beat down by the Pats a bit more easy to handle this Sunday!

Great news for Peyton

but does absolutely nothing for the Colts. Andrew Luck should be the pick, period!! I know people will disagree but the Colts should just make a clean break from Manning. If he is giving the big money again, Colts will be in same position as before with possibly just a few more years out of him.
