Lamey Lamely Carries Water
I watched the game yesterday with joy and amazement. It felt good to watch the Colts win one, especially against a division rival. I cheered on Lacey, Brown, and Wayne as they made their Touchdowns. I pumped my fist in the air as AV kicked in his field goals. I had to leave the house at 4pm, but the game wasn't over. I decided to stay until it was a sure thing. So with a minute and change left, the Colts got the ball back, and I headed out to the car. I tuned in to Hank FM, and Bob Lamey's coverage of the game. I thought, "Nothing could make me feel bad about this win." I was wrong.
And that's what I think.

It's his job
Lamey is a Colts employee, so he has to stick to the company line. That’s why he says stuff like that, and why he is never asks the tough questions during the Polian show.
Still, it is unbearable to listen to him at times. Half of the broadcast is inevitably about how the referees are screwing the Colts out of what should be their game. Someone has to do it though, and can be fun to listen to when the Colts go 12-4.

agreed on both levels
1. he can be unbearable. the colts aren’t the only ones who need an influx of talent.
2. he knows who butters his bread so he will ride that pony to infinity. i never take anything he, polian, espn, or any other media too seriously since most have an agenda and most have to toe the company line.

Bob Lamey is terrible
I know he’s employed by the Colts. That doesn’t make him any less terrible to listen to.
