I'm still suspicious that they are trying to lose on some level without being too obvious about it.
I'm still pissed that my favorite NFL rivalry is on hold and our opposing fans have been let down by the Colts (dis)organization on such an epic level. Really, Mr. Irsay? You pay $100 million like it's nothing, without so much as confirming the player's health and future ability to contribute?
I'm still pissed that I might be wasting hours of time today watching a bunch of guys in white and blue play a football team. Because of what little tape I've seen of the Colts I am really not impressed by their desire to play, let alone to win.
But hey, it's the Colts. That Means Saturday, Addai, Wayne, Mathis, and Freeney. Besides, routinely when the Pats are favored by a blowout the game turns out to be much closer.
What goes without saying is that no matter what happens today in New England, or what happens next year with the Colts QB/coach situation, the rivalry will not die. And I'll still be hoping the Pats don't have to make the trip to Indy except if it's the tail-end of the 2011 post-season. Hate. That. Dome.
