OK
You guys can say what you want but Donald Brown is NOT a better RB than Delone Carter. His vision is absolutely horrendous. There was one play that I must have rewound about 10 times. He put his head down and literally rammed into his lineman's back. He could have cut back to his left but didn't see the hole. He did the same thing on another play. I know he didn't fumble and he did score a touchdown but he is hardly worth a 1st round pick and should not be the #1 back. With Carter, it goes back to poor coaching. You would think they would work with him on holding the football. He clearly has good vision and can run, just has a penchant for fumbling the ball. Didn't Peterson have same problem early on? I think it would be foolish for the Colts to cut him next year as some people have suggested. On that same note, why does he get benched the rest of the game after a fumble? If that's the case, Painter should've been benched every game and DanO should've been benched today. I hope the coaching staff realizes how much of a gem they have with Carter......

To start off I want BOTH to be great,
Yes, AP had fumble problems yet his explosiveness was crazy good. Delone Carter in limited time to be fair hasn’t showed big runs and add the fact he was supposed to be the 3rd & short guy. That role is a big job and to turn the ball over in key situations is generally more negative than a loss of a couple of yards. . Ben Tate, who is close to a rookie, fumbles yet you see him break long runs Carter hasn’t.To be fair limited practice time and no offseason this year. I dont care who gets a start but how good the unit is I.E both Collins and Painter were starters , nuf said

I hear you blue
but to get benched for the entire game because of a fumble makes no sense when you don’t bench the qb for throwing MULTIPLE interceptions. Most teams try to build up their player’s confidence by going back to them after a turnover. This coaching staff is so pathetic it isn’t funny. I think we will see a lot of improvement from this team just from a coaching change.
true
But carters a rookie, and brown has been here for a while. By the time carter has the amount of experience brown has now, he’ll be much better.
The Indianapolis Colts are going to be the 1st team to win a super bowl in their own stadium. 'nuff said.
