Luke Links: 'Shhhhh, Archie!' Edition

Still pissed that the Colts moved to Indianapolis? You're not alone... The Packers should go for perfection... Archie Manning changes his mind extremely fast... and the Colts hate to blitz...
FROM THE SADDLE (official team news)
- Dallas Clark should be back in the saddle this weekend, but Pat Angerer is still limited.
- Baltimore's defense is really, really good. What a surprise.
GREEN APPLES AND ROAD APPLES (media analysis)
- 18to88 believes it's time for the Colts anti-media machine to let down their guard.
- Bob Kravitz has some words of wisdom for the Green Bay Packers: Don't be the '09 Colts. Go for perfection.
- In case you hadn't heard (/sarcasm), Kravitz still wants the Colts to dump a Man-ning and test their Luck.
- Whenever the Colts visit their former home of Baltimore, it's remains a touchy subject for many fans.
- The Colts don't like to blitz. But when they do, it doesn't bode well for the defense.
- Jason Cole believes that Archie Manning's now infamous "they can't co-exist" remarks hurt Peyton Manning and the Colts.
- Chris Burke of SI.com writes that the Colts are "stuck in Peyton purgatory" and should move forward with a Manning-free future.
APPLE PIE (SB Nation goodies)
- With Heisman Saturday upon us, SB Nation has provided an awards round-up.

apparently Manning is scared shitless of Tarick Glenn
but was funny regardless
Jim Sorgi, all 165 pounds of him
comes to Peyton’s aid lol
Glenn eats sandwiches that weight more than Sorgi

Greetings from Baltimore
Wait, don’t ban me!
I’d like to add my $.02 worth about the Colts coming in and the talk about when they left 27 years ago. I’m 35, and honestly, I can barely remember the Colts even being in Baltimore, seeing as I was only 7 at the time they left. To me there is a divide in the city as to feeling about the Colts: people my age (40 and under) who don’t have the hard feelings and see this as another game, and those 40 and over, who were die-hard Colts fans who are still bitter as to how the team left.
At this point, I look at it this way…it’s been 27 YEARS since the Colts left Baltimore, and yes while the Colts and Baltimore had a bond, the Ravens are giving the fans that same bond. I love the way the Ravens embraced the rich history the Colts had in Baltimore, and while we have that history, it’s time to make NEW history. We’ve won a Super Bowl with the Ravens, and are contenders for another one this year. It’s time to finally, finally move on in this city and just let it go. While Peyton Manning may break Johnny U’s records, it wont change what Johnny U, Raymond Berry, John Mackey, etc. meant to Baltimore.
As a side note, I’ve never had ill will to the Colts (well except that ’06 playoff game damnit), and honestly, it sucks you guys are having such a horrid season. The Colts have had some class acts playing and coaching there (Tony Dungy and Peyton Manning immediately comes to mind) and I know that you are all a loyal fan base there.
Anyway, best of luck the rest of the way….well maybe not so much Sunday
