free agent?????

What about the colts picking up Plaxico Burress as a free agent??? we could get him cheap and we could make sure he doesnt have anymore problems because he will be under strict supervision,,,,, He was a very good receiver and apparently is still in good shape and has been working out, maybe we could get a good 2/ 1 receiver for little or nothing and he could open things up for Reggie Wayne and Peirre Garcon.  Can you imagine a line up with him and wayne and collie and clark????  wow and they thought we had a potent passing game now

i like this idea too

but don’t think he’ll come cheap or that we’ll get him, sadly.

but i have these same dreams about randy moss on our team. just any huge receiver who can kill deep routes and get jump balls over anyone.

Wow.

People keep forgetting that, although “we could make sure he doesnt have anymore problems because he will be under strict supervision” [citation needed], the Colts generally don’t go after guys with a history of shooting themselves in the leg with their glock. The fact that he’ll be 34 this season, and that he doesn’t have any experience in this offense with any of our players, doesn’t bode well for him either.

I put on my robe and wizard hat.

Deep threats don't always need

To be really familiar with an offense to succeed right away. Deep routes are pretty much the same everywhere. Example (and I hate to bring it up): moss in ’07, his first season in New England.

The Indianapolis Colts ARE going to be the 1st team to win a super bowl in their own stadium. 'nuff said.
1998 + XLI = 18... it makes sense if you don't think about it.

Plus no calls for offensive pass interference that year

I’m sure there were plenty that should have gone against Moss.
