Why the Colt's should sign Marcus Stroud

With this season's free agent scurry underway, the Colts wasted no time in clearing room under the salary cap. With the release of Bob Sanders,  the Colts freed up 5 mill. I will admit I'm not a fan of this move, especially if he ends up going to a team like the Jags. Which now leaves another hole we have to fill in the secondary. We all know the Colts need to fix their O-line, but the D-line could use some new blood as well. This is where Marcus Stroud comes in. If the Colts signed Stroud, he would instantly upgrade our D-line as he would give the Colts something we haven't had since Booger McFarland was here: A bonified lineman. Stroud is a beast on the inside and has all the tools: strength, size, and athleticism at the DT position. Stroud would be a perfect addition to the Colts defense as he would be playing next to two of the best pass rushers in the game in Freeney and Mathis. I hope the team is looking into this. We won't have much money to play with after Manning recieves his Lion's share of the teams salary. Keeping my fingers crossed on this one as well as hoping the Colts have their eye on a safety to fill Sander's old spot.
