1. We trade up into the top 5 to grab DT Nick Fairley. This will immediately improve both the run defense and the pass rush up the middle.
2. We select Anthony Castonzo, Gabe Carimi, Nate Solder, or Derek Sherod for LT at #22 overall.
3. We draft a talented G in the 2nd round unless McClendon, Devan, or Pollak can improve at that position. If Mike Pouncey fell that far it would be amazing!
Are biggest needs are OT, G, and DT. Getting a LT will move Charlie Johnson to LG which is his normal position. I am not ready to give up on Diem yet because he's only 31. I wouldn't call that old when Logan Mankins is 28 and Jeff Saturday is 35. The O-line would read LT-Castonzo, Carimi, Solder, or Sherod, LG-Johnson, C-Saturday, RG-McClendon, Devan, Pollak, or draft pick, RT-Diem.
These changes would dramatically improve the team!
