New England Patriots safety Brandon Meriweather allegedly shot two men, one of them in the head, during a fight on February 27 outside a house party in Apopka, Florida, according to John Morgan, attorney for the victims.
Breaking report from Deadspin. Just allegations for now, hence the FanShot, but we'll keep an on the situation as it develops and cover it as developments warrant.

Damn.
That’s some serious shit, but how would this stay so quiet for such a long time. I mean in the new world of tweets and such, you would think something would have come out sooner about this.

This isn’t the first time he’s been reported shooting someone, in 2006 he shot two unidentified men in self defense when his teammate from "The U’ was wounded in the ass.
If he did it, the charges would most likely be dropped cause he legally owns the weapon.

Free will is an illusion, but pragmatically, the illusion of self (ego), choice, freedom, consciousness, are all necessary for the game or struggle to move. No struggle, no universe
If the deadspin story is true...
isn’t it justifiable? You can legally defend someone who is in danger (like his friend who was being jumped by two guys)…it’s not self defense (of course), but it’s the same concept…
