we're all complaining that the super-rich vs mega-rich squabble isn't worth our time and i have a proposition. these rich assholes should take that billion they can't share and evenly distribute it between japan, the gulf coast and haiti (or whatever other recent tragedies have occurred and clearly need help.) then they can have an uncapped year this year-where we will hopefully be able to load up enough people for a SB run at home- even though we'd still decide to pull up practice squad players instead of signing a 7 digit check haha.

i'd like to see some evidence that the NFL cares other than taking 40 3rd graders on a bus for a no-pads practice in the park. its good to get the kids off the couch but i'd rather see these players help kids who don't already have couches or team apparel.

now i know this will never happen and a lot of players do real stuff like garcon helping haiti last year or the guys who go on USO tours but i'm talking about some manute bol style charity. like go change the world with all of this money power and influence that the NFL has.

just an idea i had this morning while feeling poor (from reading about lockout) and realizing i'm still way better off than most of the world (most especially recent disaster sites). oh also sorry if someone already had this idea and i just said the same thing, its not an original idea really.
