Alright peeps. It's that time of year again. Madness time! March Madness that is. And the best part of March Madness is the bracket contests. Although this is a Colts blog, we love sports, and we love to pretend that we know Jack Squat about them. So here's your chance to do it some more!
1. Download this spreadsheet. The spreadsheet is the bracket, and can be filled out on your computer using Excel or comparable program.
2. Fill out the bracket on your computer.
3. Email it to me at JesusNinja13@aol.com (also on my profile).
4. Win. Or lose, depending on how awesome you are.
The point scoring will go like this: 1-2-4-6-10-15
In case you can't figure that out, it would be: First round: 1 point, Sweet Sixteen: 2 points, Elite 8: 4 points, Final Four: 6 points, Finals: 10 points, and correctly guessing the National Champion: 15 points.
Pittsburgh will face the winner of a play-in game between North Carolina-Asheville and Arkansas-Little Rock, who play on Tuesday, March 15th to decide who takes the 16th-seed in the Southeast Region.
Also playing a play-in game on Tuesday are the University of Alabama-Birmingham and Clemson. The winner of the Blazers-Tigers match-up will claim the No. 12 seed in the East Region and a spot in the first round against 5th-seed West Virginia.
On Wednesday, March 16th, the Virginia Commonwealth Rams and the USC Trojans will play a play-in for the 11th-seed in the Southwest Region and an opportunity to go up against Georgetown in the first round, while the Alabama State Hornets and the Texas-San Antonio Roadrunners battle for the 16th-seed in the East bracket.
I'll take care of the brackets and what not. No money, it's just for fun, but if you want to pay anyway, just send me your credit card number, expiration date, and PIN, and I'll take it as my maintenance fee. No guarantees thought. And no refunds.
Make sure you get the Brackets emailed to me by Thursday, March 15 at 1:00 Eastern Time. If it's not in by then, it'll be disqualified. Thanks a lot SB members!
Let the Madness Begin!
