Feel stupid - we have a bunch of RFAs
I feel stupid, because I only realize now. And because I feel stupid, I only put it into a FanShot. Most of our UFAs are RFAs. Clicking the link you see, Cromartie got tendered. RFA tenders weren't talked about much, so I forgot, last year's rules are in place. That means not only Santi, Hart, Foster, Robinson, Silva are RFAs, Addai, CJ, AJ, Muir, Session, Bullitt, Dawson are too. If franchise tenders, that are applied now stick, then RFA tenders might too. At least it gives the team more time to re-sign the guys we need after a new CBA is reached. RFA tender amounts, veterans with 3 accrued seasons: 3.317 - 1st & 3rd round compensation* 2.611 - 1st round compensation* 1.835 - 2nd round compensation* 1.200 - original round compensation* 1.200 - right of first refusal * or 110% of the previous year's pay (whichever is higher) Real UFAs (that matter) - Vinatieri, Hagler, Rhodes. My RFA predictions: Addai – original round compensation – 1.2 million CJ – 2nd round – 1.684.000 *1.1 AJ – 2nd round – 1.684.000*1.1 Bullitt – 2nd round – 1.684.000*1.1 Muir – no tender (or 2nd round – 1.684.000*1.1) Foster – he was UDFA, so there is no compensation, unless he is tendered for 1.8 million. Is he worth it? Silva – no tender Robinson – no tender Santi – no tender Dawson – no tender Session – original round – 1.200.000 Hart – no tender or original round – 1.200.000
