This is not my original work:
in Polian's first round career he has drafted:
Running Backs- 5
Wide Receivers- 3
Tight Ends- 1
D. Ends - 2
D. Tackle- 0
D. Backs- 5
So based on Polian's draft history we are more likely to see a first round Tackle than a first round QB. It's also just as likely that we'll see a first round WR as we see a first round T. It is (based on history alone) far more likely that Polian will take a Running Back or a Defensive Back with this years 22nd pick. Based on history we won't see an interior linemen in round one either.
This is looking at Bill's drafting going back to his days with the bills. I thought it was a telling group of stats. Facts show that he has drafted more Tackles in the first round than quarterbacks, and just as many tackles as wide receivers.
So I guess a T on day one isn't out of the question this year, right?
