I would like to express one point to both the NFL and the NFLPA. If you stall, cancel or shut down the 2011-2012 NFL season, you have lost a fan. I love football, but a work stoppage will leave the same taste of disdain in mouth that the MLB lockout did. For the record, I have not watched one baseball game since the MLB owners locked out the players in 1990. I used to be a major NY Yankees fan, I loved baseball. I will not watch that game anymore. So, take it for what is worth. My voice may be in the small minority, but I spend money every year on NFL merchandise, video games, tickets, concessions etc. The impact of losing me will not kill either side, but if enough people got together and threatened a fan boycott, both sides would listen.
This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of Stampede Blue's writers or editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of Stampede Blue's writers or editors.
