Devin Aromashodu to Colts?
It seems as if the Bears will release WR Devin Aromashodu if/when a new CBA is reached.
As PFT suggests, Aromashodu had a dissapointing 2010 seaon when expectations were high on him to perform. However, considering that he has aready been on the Colts and knows the system, it wouldn't be a real hard transition for him.
After Devin left the Colts following the 2007 season, he did not see game action until the 2009 season. However, he showed several flashes during this time, most notably in the classic Chicago-Minnesota Monday nighter in which Aromashodu caught the walk-off touchdown pass in overtime beating Pro Bowler Antoine Winfield.
Aromashodu has shown that he has the talent to play with anyone, he just has yet to put it all together. After leaving the Colts he definitely seemed as if he improved by leaps and bounds. If the Colts can sign him, it would be a good pick up that in the worst case would add depth to the WR core and in the best case would add a great playmaker to an already loaded offense.
Thoughts?

I'd be alright with it.
I don’t think he’d be expensive and he’d be able to play immediately. Does anyone remember how good he was on special teams? I’m sure that would be a big factor into whether the Colts consider him or not.

Im cool with it
I remember he did good in all the preseason games with training camp fodders, he made Quinn Gray look like a superstar, so imagine him working with Manning.
Alot of WRs that try out for the team never works with Manning in the PS, but instead with backups.
Colts fan since Tony Dungy's 48th Birthday.
Free will is an illusion, but pragmatically, the illusion of self (ego), choice, freedom, consciousness, are all necessary for the game or struggle to move. No struggle, no universe
I like it
I like the idea of bringing Aromashodu back IF we can get him for cheap. Anthony Gonzalez has injury history. Collie should be back, but he’s one big hit away from missing a lot of time. Wayne’s getting old. Bring Aromashodu back, at least to give the regulars a rest.
I'd rather not
I would rather draft a WR if we were to get one at all, because 5 WRs is already full for us. That’s my preferance though.
The Indianapolis Colts are going to be the 1st team to win a super bowl in their own stadium. 'nuff said.
