The NFL has felt like a girlfriend that just doesn't want to commit to a relationship. Yeah, you've gone on a few dates together but, nothing seems to occur from it. That's how I've felt the litigation process has gone between the owners and players. Today it was announced the meetings for a possible CBA agreement have been adjourned until May 16th. This leaves only a judgement ruling from Judge Susan Nelson as a chance to lift the lockout. Mediation has failed over and over again, we cannot expect a kiss and make-up scenario from them. Seriously, its time to shove all of them in a room, bolt the door, and not release them until a signed contract is slid from under the door.
The NFL is like this semi-hot girl and we're hoping she sees the options in the dating field don't look very promising. We are the resolution and may not be the coolest guy in the world. Maybe, we sit around in our underwear and play video games too much. Still, we're not one of the cheating bastards who will hurt you (NFL) in the end. Then picture Judge Nelson as one of her girlfriends trying to set this crazy be-ya-ch straight. Nelson will tell her how she's expecting too much from any guy and if she doesn't fix her act she'll remain single. Just for the record, there isn't a woman out there past her prime ready to take on that future. So, come on NFL! You don't want to end up that crazy lady with a dozen or so cat now, do ya?
I'm united with you the fans who are being hurt by this whole matter. As Colts fans we just want to be entertained with joys of watching Peyton as he pulls another 4th quarter comeback. The longer this ordeal drags out, the less likely-hood we'll be watching that on Sundays this fall. So, please come to your senses and workout the differences between you guys. For everyone out there who happens to feel the way I do, state your opinions about all this.
