The 2011 NFL Draft has begun. After a shower of boos rained down on Commissioner Roger Goodell when he walked out on stage, the 76th annual draft officially started. Carolina wasted little time, selecting Auburn quarterback Cam Newtorn No. 1 overall.

1. Carolina Panthers: Cam Newton, QB, Auburn

2. Denver Broncos: Von Miller, LB, Texas A&M

3. Buffalo Bills: Marcel Daries, DT, Alabama

4. Cincinnati Bengals: A.J. Green, WR, Georgia

5. Arizona Cardinals: Patrick Peterson, CB, LSU

So far, Cardinals getting Peterson is the story right now. Having Peterson fall to five was big for them.

Also, big news as I post this is Cleveland traded its No. 6 pick to the Falcons.
