So, the owners have reinstated the lockout. How nice of them. Despite what these greedy, vulgar morons intend, I'm going to do my best to enjoy the last day of real football stories before we descend into a post-draft off-season of litigation, political wrangling, and general ugliness that damages the sport.
How damaging? Well, yesterday many of us noticed that there were fewer fans on Day Two this year than last year. The lockout is killing football. The owners are killing football. It's so sad.
Anyway, the one glimmer of happiness I have in all this is the Colts draft these first few days. Left tackle Anthony Castonzo in Round One, guard Ben Ijlana in Round Two, and defensive tackle Drake Nevis in Round Three.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
All those picks make me happy. Hopefully, these final day picks will make me, and you, even more happy. Go Colts!
