Basking in the afterglow of the 2011 draft i am left wondering like many of you what are the Colts plans for the o-line this season. There are a number of different scenarios that may take place. Do the Colts have balls enough to start two rookie tackles? Costanso gets left tackle by default because that position is soon to be vacated, But can expect Ljalana to beat out Deim in camp ? Hardly, no some tuff decisions will have to be made. But just how big are there balls. The tackle position weren't the only glaring weakness of this unit, you could criticize every position including center. How many changes were made at guard ? We could not make up our mind most of the season. At center Saturday does an excellent job of calling out blocking assignments and is adequate at pass blocking at best but cannot handle a nose tackle by himself and was consistently blown off the ball when asked to. There need to be some major adjustments going forward . You can analyze and project but sometimes it comes down to a matter of BALLS. Sitting her in the comfort of my armchair there feeling pretty big. I have seen a few different o-line predictions and would like to offer mine. I am taking into account the age factor also.
LT: Costonso
LG:Delvan
C: Mclenden
RG: Pollack
RT Johnson
This is to start the season, I don't relish the idea of starting two rookies,As you can see we would get a lot younger and stronger and would lose two long time anchors. With a new stronger yet green center i opted to stay with the current guards to start
