Javarris James arrested
Apparently Javarris James has been arrested for possession of marijuana.
Also,I don't know if James will make it onto the roster at this point. In fact, I think he just pretty much blew it.

I agree with you.
I think he’s just blown his chance. I don’t personally have any problem with marijuana usage, but given his precarious situation on the roster bubble, this is something that our organisation won’t tolerate. Goodbye Baby J, nice seeing ya.

Completely agree
It doesn’t conflict with my value system (nor Irsay’s, I’m sure) but these kinds of things doom those on the roster bubble.
…sorry for rephrasing exactly what you just said. Haha.
Also..
I think because of the recent incidents of other players, the Colts have to set an example and show that this kind of s#*t won’t be accepted. Its one thing to have weed, its another thing to be dumb enough to get pulled over by a cop when you have it with you.
How is anybody dumb enough and gets pulled over? Isn't it by chance?
This incident is not that serious as you guys make it sound like.
I don't think I'm making it sound serious at all.
I don’t consider it to be so – it just betrays a lack of judgement, is all. He can consume in his own home, and he’s wealthy enough to spend on people bringing it directly to him. He shouldn’t have to go out of his home and get caught with it.
Just a matter of practicality.

he probably tried not to get pulled over but he was still black when he got in the car, so no he didn't have a chance

He can kiss his roster spot goodbye
Damn Baby J, why you have to be so damn stupid
Colts fan since Tony Dungy's 48th Birthday.
Free will is an illusion, but pragmatically, the illusion of self (ego), choice, freedom, consciousness, are all necessary for the game or struggle to move. No struggle, no universe.
I am the most die-hard Colts fan in the city and state of New Orleans, Louisiana
Dexter Reid, Ed Johnson
Dom Rhodes To name a few who got busted under Dungy. It happens.
BTW, we should really legalize MJ. Its less harmful than cigarettes

Rather ban cigarettes too.
If weed would be legal, every 3rd person would be high.

not true but...
If thats what people want to do with their free will so be it. Just dont get behind the wheel. Not every dude is a hoss like me and can take a speeding impaired driver head on with their body.

agreed. not everyone is up to driving while smoked out
but it doesn’t make you a worse driver, actually the opposite.
“THC’s effects on road-tracking after doses up to 300 µg/kg never exceeded alcohol’s at bacs of 0.08 g%; and, were in no way unusual compared to many medicinal drugs’ (Robbe, 1994; Robbe and O’Hanlon, 1995; O’Hanlon et al., 1995). Yet, THC’s effects differ qualitatively from many other drugs, especially alcohol. Evidence from the present and previous studies strongly suggests that alcohol encourages risky driving whereas THC encourages greater caution, at least in experiments. Another way THC seems to differ qualitatively from many other drugs is that the former’s users seem better able to compensate for its adverse effects while driving under the influence. "

You're not pretending driving while high is the same as, or even safer than, being sober, right?
Because that would make you the dumbest mfer to have ever existed.

kinda harsh thing to say
i mean did you read that study before you called me an idiot? i mean i know you didn’t but damn. cannabis really does make people more cautious behind the wheel and personally decreases the road rage i feel from dealing with fucks like you who think i’m stupid and also probably dick along at 75 in the fast lane.

I never saw
anyone high cause any trouble. You smoke a fattie and then you sit down and contemplate things—like your toenails for 2 hours straight. It’s the coke-heads and alkyies that kill people in cars and throw their wives through walls.
Make it legal and tax the hell out of it.

This
It’s the coke-heads and alkyies that kill people in cars
is the biggest argument that I can think of for why weed should be given at least the same legal status as alcohol.
IMO, alcohol is (arguably) more harmful to the user than weed, but, far more importantly, and, IMO, less arguably, alcohol is much more harmful to those who come into contact with the user than weed is, and the difference, in regards to those who come into contact with the user, is much greater than the difference in regards to the users themselves!
Yet, alcohol is legal and weed isn’t? Absurd!

Also,
it isn’t just “killing people in cars” that makes alcohol more harmful.
Weed smokers who are otherwise ‘nice people’ don’t suddenly turn mean after taking a few puffs and start going around looking for fights, or beat up their girlfriends and/or spouses, and their kids.
