This is my attempt at gaining perspective in a meaningless game.

The Good
Chad Spann - Decisive with deceptive speed, has good field awareness.I envision him as filling a Mike Hart role.
Drake Nevis - His play was excellent, needs to be a rotation guy. I noticed early they started running away from him also noticed he was held on a big run he should of blown up. (the draw that saw Carnell " Cadillac" Williams go for 9-10yds) He seemed to get great penetration consistently our secondary needs to get better in pass coverage to capitalize on his ability.
Jacques McClendon - Seemed to be an above average pass blocker with above average run blocking skills.
Donald Brown - Decisive... finally showing off his abilities. I'm excited to see if he can gain that oh so elusive consistency.
Pierre Garcon - Supplier of Painter's only good play.
Ben Ijalana - He's looking better than Anthony Castonzo as of now.
Darren Evans - Some decent runs at the end of the game I don't expect he'll make the team.
Delone Carter - looked like a man possessed, really needs to get some more play against starters though.

The Bad
Jerry Hughes- worked well against their starters when the rest of our starting d-line was in, needs to work well regardless. The only play I noticed him on after the starters left he got carried into the end zone (this was the only play in the entire game where I was actually mad).
Chad Spann - Terrible returner, just awful.
Anthony Castonzo - Looked lost, on one play it looked like he expected the tight end to get Robert Quinn. I expect he'll be significantly better at the end of the preseason.
Special Teams - Just awful most of the drives started inside our 20 yard line, that is not okay.
The Backup QBs - Three picks to ten completions. Nate Davis was by far the worst of the QBs. Curtis Painter was just being himself. Dan Orlovsky had just as many bad throws as decent throws should be our third string QB. Hartline looked really bad should be cut immediately.
