The Colts are going to lose Sunday in Houston. Stop thinking they will win. They will lose and for your children, your Plasma TV, your relationship with your significant other/dog, and your overall happiness you need to mentally prepare yourself for the foregone loss of this game.
Is there a chance? No. There is not. It is best for you to not allow yourself to think there is a chance.
Do we need to go through the reasons? Okay fine
- Underwhelming coaches.
- 2 weeks prep time for a QB that was retired.
- Morale has to be low in the locker room. Mentally the team just lost the superbowl.
- They are on the road.
- Houston is the best team in the AFC South.
- The D can't get off of the field.
- Colts can't stop the run
- Colts can't run the ball
- They have a young line
- They can't stay healthy
- They got beat @ Houston last year
- They are undersized
- Curtis Painter is on the team
Now for the real point of this story
If you are a fanatic-Like me- the facts above don't matter and it is impossible to believe that the Colts can't win. It might be a snowball in hell but damn it I'm a believer and I think the Colts might rally to the occasion. When was the last time that these Colts were underdogs like this? There is a core of veterans that are out to prove that they are not Peyton's Puppets! Go Colts- 17-14 winners in Houston- EV
They can't win is incorrect- they shouldn't win is a given- But I believe it is possible.
