Methinks Chris Brooks Was Cut From Colts Practice Squad

Sounds like the rookie from Nebraska is off the Colts practice squad, where he's been since last year.

Brooks had four catches for 53 yards and one touchdown in the preseason. He played especially well in the third preseason game against the Packers, catching a touchdown pass in the second quarter.

This apparent move might have something to do with the Colts claiming Seth Olsen off waivers last night. They cut Jamey Richard from the active roster, but they also might be adding someone new to the PS. There's no 'official' word from the team yet, but that's typical. Mike Hartline's brother, Dolphins receiver Brian Hartline, tweeted Mike had been signed to the Colts PS a good four days before an 'official' announcement was made.
