How is Angerer playing??

I have not gotten to see any games yet..but was curious to hear how Pat Angerer was doing?  I have heard both good and bad...does anyone feel that one of the reasons that the run defense was better last week was because Angerer was in the middle instead of Brackett?  Is Angerer a long term solution in the middle, or is he destined to be a journeyman?  I wish I could see some games to make up my own opinion.

I didn't miss Brackett at all.

I don’t know if Angerer is the long-term answer at MLB. I think he could be upgraded if the right opportunity came along. But there’s no question Angerer is better in the middle than at OLB. And IMO he played better than Brackett has in a long time. Brackett is overpaid and easily injured. He had a nice story and played above his head for a long time but it’s probably time to move on.

our biggest weakness is our DT’s and our scheme…..lacey doesn’t help either

Angerer is 3rd in the NFL in tackles

That speaks for itself…

BTW, did anyone see that Bob is hurt already? Looks like he’s missing this week’s game. Bullitt dodged. Oh wait…

didnt we

already discuss tackles and i showed you how false they are? why even bring them up to begin with?

and who cares anyway? that speaks for the colts not being able to get off the field on d

You can't take tackles completely out of the equation, that's moronic

While I agree that tackles don’t mean everything, the guy clearly has good instincts. Holding the Browns rushing offense to 3.1 yds/carry and the Texans to 4.1 yds/carry is a huge improvement over last year, especially with the play at DTackle this year. Rush defense clearly hasn’t been the problem the glaring problem this year, it has instead been the pass D.
