After a day where we saw two teams we all despise (the Patriots and the Texans) choke in the fourth quarter and lose, it would be nice if our Colts could perhaps pull an upset this evening. If the do so, they'll do it without the help of Ryan Diem or Melvin Bullitt. Both are out.
An interesting element in this game is it seems Peyton Manning will be at the stadium, and will be helping from the booth, sitting next to QB coach Ron Turner.

The main game I watched was Texans/Saints.
lots of folks on Pats Pulpit were complaining about how the refs gave the game to Bills

I was switching games, but I saw some of the big time penalties they got. I don’t think any of the penalties were pure BS. But I’m sure Pats fans are used to getting all the calls so are now chaffing under having to play by the rules.

I only watched the ending, but basically with 2 minutes left, the Bills had the ball at the one yard line with the game tied, and kept trying to kneel down to waste the 2 minutes left, and the Pats were storming at the QB. At one point there was
an unsportsmanlike conduct on a Patriots D-man. Not sure if thats what it is about but I didn’t hear any commentary about anything else.

They're probably referring to the INT in the endzone.
The Pats DB wasn’t looking back when the Bills WR stopped at the back of the endzone to come back to the ball he ran into the WR. After hitting the WR he put his arms around him. He didn’t tackle him or grab his jersey or anything dramatic. However, he definitely impeded the WR path back to the ball. So instead of the WR coming back to compete for the ball the Pats DB blocked him allowing for an uncontested INT by the other DB.
That one seemed pretty clear and was a big game changer.

They said something on NBC about a timeout
but it was negated by the Personal Foul.
I had the Game Mix on early today, so I was semi-watching it throughout. Once they ruled that he was down at the 1, I flipped it to Vikes/Lions, so I didn’t see anything after that.
They should be more upset about Brady throwing as many INTs in one game as he did all last year. The refs didn’t make those throws.

Belichicky was angry and arguing when a TD by the bills was reversed and put at the one with about 2 minutes left, and they took a timeout away from him because of the arguing.
I wasn't clear on what happened there, either.
I know he was arguing pretty hard on the field with the refs. My only guess is that it was so excessive and time consuming they penalized him a timeout. Not a bad rule to have. Instead of having his players fake an injury for a timeout he just decided he can give his guys a rest by arguing.

Ugh pats territory. I was standing outside of fanieul hall watching the last field goal to win and you should have heard the fbombs flying. I smiled when they lost and this guy turns to me and asks, ‘so who’s your team?’ I said “colts” and he replied. “f-that”. Hilarious.

Great town, Boston. The opposite side of my story is that I saw a guy with a bills jersey and i said congrats. He asked me my team, I said colts, and he told me to rock on and said beat those steelers. Dude!

I'm not focused on winning so much as improvement.
It hurts we are without some more prominent players, but improvements in the lines and Collins and the secondary are the focus tonight.

If we keep this up i expet nothing but improvement as the season goes on. I hear the Ravens are scoring points this year. At least it could be interesting to watch. Maybe Peyton comes back and we send him off like Elway in the twilight of his career. That would be sweet with a backup QB in the helm.
