Well the Colts cutting Tryon is yet another reason the Polians must go. First, I know none of us consider ourselves experts in scouting and know exactly what is going on behind closed doors so yes it is somewhat possible that in practice maybe just maybe Tryon has not performed well. However, it is HIGHLY unlikely. We saw what Tryon can do last year and he played very well, maybe even the best corner on the team. We are very certain he's better than Lacey who consistently gives 10 yard cushions on every single play then doesn't even use the cushion to his advantage and still gets blown by. So from a talent standpoint, letting go of Tryon is just another big mistake the Polians have made in regards to letting go solid talent and keeping the almost talentless. 

But here's the big kicker, not the drunk one, Tryon then revealed through tweets that this was in no way to be put on the shoulders of Caldwell. By saying Caldwell wanted him to play and this was not his decision it then opens up questions. Who disagrees with Caldwell? Could it be Coyer, sure maybe Coyer thought he stunk and didn't want to play him but then when asked about Tryon's playing time did Coyer respond "Ask the head coach". Also Coyer would not be able to make a decision to release a player over Caldwell. That only leaves the Polians. So yes we all know Caldwell is just a puppet, now we have irrefutable evidence of this whether Tryon knew what he was saying would be proof or not. It says blatantly that Caldwell wanted one thing and he was forced to do another. Therefore basically what this means is Caldwell means nothing to this team. He's a figurehead, but not even a good one now that this is out. How can the players respect a guy they know may not have much say in anything. How can the fans be expected to like anything about him now. Oddly i feel somewhat sorry for the guy, but there is no way i can respect him or want him as the coach of my team.

Look i agree with the world, Bill Polian is a Hall of Famer no doubt in my mind. He has done some great things in his long career. But right now and in recent years he has been a pretty average GM. Now I say Polians must go because I also think his son Chris must go as well. Would Chris act differently and maybe be a good GM with his father not watching over him anymore? Maybe. But I don't know that for sure and the evidence thus far show him as a clone in regards to talent evaluation. They way this team has been run the past few years is blatantly irresponsible. If I were Peyton Manning I would be fed up. Peyton is the greatest thing to happen to the Colts ever. The fact that his career is winding down and he has struggled through playoff after playoff to come home with a trophy is not his fault. I honestly put that blame on Bill Polian (the later years obviously). I put that blame on Bill because its his job to surround Peyton with the tools to win championships. Yes I know its hard to pay defensive players big money when you pay your offensive players including Peyton the big money. But its not impossible. Mistakes have been made in who to pay and how much as well as who to let go. But without Peyton we now see just how bad the colts can be. And I think its pretty obvious Bill knew how bad this team would be without Peyton. Thats why I and all colts fans should be furious with the state of our franchise. To have a guy leading our deeply loved team who blatantly doesnt give enough support for us to win championships is intolerable. This is Peyton's twilight and it has been time for a few years for Bill to prepare for the twilight. Now I'm worried it may be too late to surround Peyton with a stronger all around team in order to give him the chance to win another ring as he deserves.

Is it a worry that with the firing of our head coach as well as the guys running the team would be seemingly a start over switch, yes. But the way this is going i don't see the current situation leading us to a championship and i believe that is the point of football, to want to be the best...not pretty good.
