This post has two topics so bare with me. First of all I was listening to Dan Dakich, yesterday. and he made some excellent points I agree with. I love Peyton as much as the next Colt's fan, but like it or not I don't buy the fact that he did not want to use any one else for rehab except Colt's training staff. He has more money than God, and with no doubt could afford the best rehab specialist money could buy. Several callers called Dan's show. One caller claimed Peyton never had surgery, there is no scar on his neck and that something is wrong with his newly born twins. The next caller stated he could clearly see two small scars on Peyton's neck, another caller claimed he knew Peyton had already had a 2nd surgery. Just like after the bursa sack surgery in 2008, except no one knew he had a second procedure until he mentioned it to Phil Simms in a pre game interview. There are theories the whole injury and Irsay's tweets are just a big mind game with the media, which I don't buy either. I like probably alot of you have different ideas of what is really going on, but What it comes down to (IMO) is that not really anyone but Peyton himself . Your thoughts, opinions ?
The main thing I wanted to talk about was how with Peyton and especially without, the media is counting us out, and sadly alot of fellow Colt's fans are too. Remember what we did last year with a depleted roster? Next man up ? Regardless of opinions of Collins stepping in and not knowing the offense, we still have one of if not the best receiving cores in the NFL. Reggie, Pierre, Austin, and Dallas Clark all healthy, if the ball is in there hands THESE GUYS MAKE PLAYS !! Joe Addai also played well in the preseason, and I think Delone Carter will step into the no. 2 role ahead of Donald Brown. With that being said, this is our chance to also run the ball and possibly run the ball well. We have a very mentally tough team, and if the defense stays healthy and can man up as well I have a lot of confidence in this team to win games til our beloved Peyton returns. Forget what ESPN, NFL, ETC. Analysts say about our team, have faith, pull hard for our team, and BELIEVE IN BLUE ! your thoughts ???
