Then I think they have to look at trading for a backup QB. Collins is older and Painter is the only option if he gets hurt. I also think they will continue to keep three quarterbacks. I think the best options to trade for:
Brian Hoyer (Patriots) - They have raved about him all preseason long and with a 3rd pick this year invested they may be willing to trade him for a 3rd round pick.
or
Jimmy Clausen (Panthers) - I think we can get him for a 4th or 5th round pick.
