Great article Matt...
that’s the kind of stuff that I come to SB for.
Very Classy!
It is possible to express desire for change without resorting to ostentatious displays of sophomoric chicanery

Very good summary Matt.
You just expressed most of the thoughts I had about Caldwell. As I was reading your article, it was clear that there’s no way to sugarcoat the truth. Caldwell was as incompetent as they come. That’s why he needed to go. It had nothing to do with whether he was a nice guy or not. And, it’s not just one area of ineptitude, as in poor time-management skills. He failed in multiple areas….critical areas….areas that affected wins and losses……over and over again. You say the players played hard and never quit, but they’re professionals and they’re paid well to play hard. Most were playing for their future. But, I agree, the timing of the firing was not the best. Caldwell should have been fired along with the Polians. Irsay didn’t do him any favors by waiting. I wish him well, but I’m just so glad he’s not with the Colts anymore.
