Now that Caldwell is gone… I have to wonder, with all the glorious speculation, who will become the next Indianapolis Colts HC and or possible OC/DC. I found an article written right after the announcement was made, link below, and I listed out the individuals the article brought up. Just curious if anyone out there as any other ideas… or any reinforcement for the individuals listed? I added my 2 cents, if it is even worth that. LOL.

Bill Cowher, Jon Gruden, Wade Phillips, Dom Capers, Perry Fewell , Gregg Williams, Dennis Allen, Jim Tressel, Tony Dungy, Marty Mornhinweg, Kirk Ferentz, Mike Sherman, Mike Zimmer, Marty Schottenheimer, Brad Childress and Joe Philbin.
Personally, I don’t see Cowher, Gruden or Dungy coming to the Colts unless Irsay threw a TON of money at them and promised them the world. Tressel I do not believe would be right for the Colts.
I wouldn’t mind seeing Perry Fewell or Gregg Williams (BUT Williams just signed with St. Louis, so that isn’t going to happen) get a HC position. Spagnoulo hasn’t “definitely” said no to the Colts (or at least it hasn’t been made formal he has) and he does have an interview with the Saints who have more pieces in place the Colts right now, so I would say him coming here as our DC is slim.
So… I wouldn’t mind seeing OC be Marty Mornhinweg , DC be Mike Zimmer, Dom Capers or Steve Spagnoulo and HC be Joe Philbin or Perry Fewell.
Take me opinion for the grain of salt it is! HA!
