peyton being coach

I believe they should make peyton one of the coaches, if not head coach. He's the one that was working on the lines all year, trying to help. He'd be a great quarterback coach or offensive line coach. The colts already look up to him and he has been there leader for years. The man knows everything there is to know about football. He is a genius and Andrew Luck could learn alot from him. I wish Peyton could still play , but I'm afraid he'd get hurt for good and I don't want to see that happen. He's called his own plays for years and pretty much has already coached them. The colts just won't be the same without Peyton.

I wouldn't do it if I were him

No glory.
Slave wages and hours.
Family time.
And its way more money to do a few hours of tv a week than all those hours doing football stuffs.

this makes no sense

1) muncie covered most of the reasons why this is a fairy tale and posted by someone not really understanding how things work in football

2) just because a guy can play doesnt mean he can coach

3) offensive line coach? manning sucks at blocking

I don't even

think he would be a good coach. He perfected an offense that was given to him. If he were installing that offense maybe. Otherwise, just let him walk away, even if it means he will play elsewhere for a couple of years!!!!!!!

Really

These mindless posts need to stop. If he doesn’t play he will not be a damn coach. Maybe one day but the idea that he would be a coach this year is just plain foolish.
