Front office

OK, with the recent signings, here is my updated list for the front office and the coaching staff. I honestly believe the Colts can still assemble the best front office in the entire NFL. Sell it to these guys they have the opportunity to rebuild a franchise from the ground up and stand to put a very big feather in their resumes with fruitful drafts and free agency decisions. There is absolutely no reason why the org chart can't look like this:

President-Ryan Grigson

VP/GM-Marc Ross or Joe Hortiz

Director Football Administration-Jason Licht

Director Player Personnel-Ron Hughes

Head Coach-Pete Carmichael Jr. or Mike Zimmer or Greg Roman

Offensive Coordinator-Tom Clements or Joe Lombardi or Hue Jackson (great in running game, would compliment Carmichael)

Defensive Coordinator-Mike Singletary, Pepper Johnson, Bill Cowher or Rob Ryan (Cowboys rumored to be moving to a 4-3).

Omaha

I thought we been through this already. It is only ONE suggestion. In case you missed it, it also said Singletary, Pepper Johnson, and Rob Ryan!!!! Any thoughts about the rest of it? Let’s play a different game…is there anything you agree with????

the fact

that you would even put cowher in the mix at makes the post foolish. the fact that you put him in consideration for dc is just insane.

It is no

more insane than Jim Tressel or Brad “are you kidding me” Childress as possible head coaches for this “new era” team. Irsay must be thinking he needs an old fogey around to deal with all the projected youth on the team!!!!

Cowher will not accept anything less then a Head Coach job

Also, I wouldn’t place Tressel and Childress in the same category. Tressel would be an excellent head coach in my opinion.

Doubtful. College coaches are rarely successful in the NFL

it is way more insane

cowher isnt sure if he wants to be a head coach anymore. why the hell do you think he will be a dc?

makes no sense. stop trying to defend such an absurd idea

Wow 67

That was original. Does anyone know of any other site where people talk Colts football. You guys think just like Jim Caldwell. “Lets not think outside the box or be creative at all, we will keep doing the same thing and expect different results”……….my word! Please use more than one brain cell!!!!

Ha

Its one thing to think outside the box…but it’s another thing to just put random mouth vomit in a post. Bill cowher as dc really. Why don’t we get bear Bryant to run the offense. How bout Bigfoot to coordinate special teams

This calls for

a Zombie Joe Paterno post, but I’m not gonna be the one….

Interesting

I would agree. He is definatly better than 1/2 of the names being mentioned!

Tom Clements for OC

That is a very good idea, he did wonders with Aaron Rodgers and Matt Flynn’s development over the years, if the Colts are going to draft Luck (which is a move I personally impose) he would be a great coach for a prospect like Luck.

Bill Cowher isn’t coming back no time soon.
