Coaching Positions?
So, we are looking at a new coaching staff. With the exception of Dito, who we know has his own coaching threads all over, what are your HC, DC, OC picks?
On my end, I think there could be a less traditional coaching format and hierarchy. Would make more sense. For me, I'd like to see this set-up, or similar:
HC/DC: Pagano
OC: Trestman or Christenson, if he is retained
DC Assistant/ST: Seely
This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of Stampede Blue's writers or editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of Stampede Blue's writers or editors.

Seely
comes from an offensive background. Actually, he was the Colts TE coach for a few years. That being said….
HC: Pagano or Zim
OC: Christenson or Trestman
DC:If Pagano, Austin or Pees. If Zim, Fitzgerald or Coyle

Oh, I got it…
HC: Bill Cowher
OC: John Gruden
DC: Tony Dungy
LOL… OK, now that I got that out of the way. (I was completely joking by the way!! For those who do not know a joke when they see one.)
HC: Chuck Pagano
OC: Bruce Arians (was Manning’s first QB coach and did well in Pittsburgh)
DC: Dom Capers
I just think that Pagano and Capers putting a defense together with Arians slightly adjusting the offense we would destory other teams!
Only question here:
Does Arians want to coach? He was forced out of Pittsburgh, but will he want to coach this year?

Arians did an interview this week where he stated that he didn’t want to leave. He was just told they were not extending his contract because they wanted to get back to being a run offense and not a passing offense. Said he didn’t want to be forced into retirement and that there are few teams that have already contacted him. So… I am hoping Grigson has made that phone call!!!
