JIM IRSAY SAYS "MANNING NOT RELEASED"

Colts owner Jim Irsay tweeted around 12:15am "No he hasn't been released nor was a decision reached weeks ago"

in response to Jason LaConfora's report that Irsay has already made the decision to part ways with Manning. Jason's report has not caught the attention of national publications that are now carrying the report as "breaking news"...
This all comes at the end of a drama filled week, where the Colts signed a new coach, offensive coordinator, also seeing Manning and Irsay go round for round in the national media over what Manning described as "not a good place to be" at West 56th.
Stay Tuned...

Only if Manning's bonus is paid or if Manning retires

Will I believe this from Irsay at this point.

I don't always drink beer....but when I do, I prefer Dos Equis.

manning will be released

and then he will retire

he might milk a team for another 10 million or so but he wont play again

If he’s going to retire then why not just retire rather than being cut its a lot easier on the ego

because he will try to come back

he might sign on with a team but i dont see him playing again.

If he signs on with another team that would mean he’s actually able to play.

No team is going to sign him otherwise.

probably not

but we will see. he might be deemed healthy to play but not have the ability

by omahacolt on Jan 29, 2012 12:35 PM EST up reply actions

And yet they will want to see him you know actually be able to play.

Try common sense if you actually have some.

like i said. you are probably right

but i could see a team gambling on him if he is say 60% of what he used to be
