Bill Polian blames himself... Jim Irsay has a lot of choices... Robert Mathis is a Pro Bowler again... and is Andrew Luck really the only answer?...

Andrew Luck sounds like a good guy.

I agree that he’s saying the right things. On a side note, I see that Bill Polian said he is focusing his attention on finding Chris a new job. My response to that is, can’t Chris go out and find his own job? Some things never change.

@ Ayrshire

He is gone! I’m glad your glad…

Surprised a great fan like yourself even cares what the Polians do from hence forth. Let Chris work his way up the ladder if someone will have him…

Well, they were with the team for several years,

and all this stuff just broke a couple of days ago, so I expect a few more Polian articles and several comments about them over the next few days. I just found it interesting that Bill still has to find his kid a job. But, now that they’re gone, I expect all the Polian stuff to slowly die down.

Lol!

Bill is fair game IMO…as his decisions still affect the team and what needs rebuilding. But his son is so unequicocally and utterly worthless that he is below you and I. If someone wants to waste payroll giving him a scout job than good for him. Other than Bill, Chris would be asking me if I wanted paper or plastic…

True enough.

And I can understand daddy Bill wanted to help his son. But, to publicly state that finding a job for Chris is where he’s going to direct his attention, is quite amazing. If you ever want to reinforce the notion that you have an incompetent, snot-nosed kid who needs your help, that’s the way to do it. lol I like the paper or plastic reference.

DECOSTA would be sweet

Luck has class,, Chris was not qualified to be a GM both had to go let’s get that GM in there so his first job can be to fire Caldwell- a nice guy but not Head coach material, we need a great Head coach

I really think...

The Colts will be better off with the upheaval. If Peyton didn’t get hurt, they likely win 10 games maybe 11 in a weakening AFC. They probably lose in the playoffs at NE or BAL.

No chance to get an elite QB prospect to groom, no first pick in each round, they retain JC BP CP, still stuck with the soft and fast draft strategy, they likely keep Wayne Saturday ad Brackett, PM covers up all until he begins to get old and Colts slowly slide towards 8-8 or worse. Anyone that thinks this team as constructed was going back to the SB is lying to themselves.

Now they dump a bad coach, overpaid 30+ year old veterans, bad strategy, a FO that has outlasted its value and get a QB for the future and hopefully a really good player with the 2-3rd round pick…

Winning masks problems. Smart to blow this puppy up now and rebuild!

since when

Does Manning lose to Baltimore?

by C.Settles on Jan 6, 2012 12:20 AM EST up reply actions

Also this team as constructed

is slightly better than the team that went to the SB 2 years ago so i think its short sighted to say youd bee lying to yourself to think they could make it
the run game is better off with brown and carter than just addai plus the new FBs the oline is

better slightly even though it doesnt seem like it with Manning back there it would be fine. the D is off and on like always but played great against a few solid teams like the steelers

Even with all the sadly horrible games this team had if Manning was driving the offense we would end the season with a nice 4-5 game win streak get in the playoffs and hopefully play a hurt steelers team or baltimore who we play well against

Irsay is the man

he will get the job done,, only thing I do not want to see in the playoffs is the Pats in Indy for the SB,, hopefully their last game will be at home, the D will let them down
