Brian Spurlock-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

Donald Brown injured his knee on the last play of the Packers game this past Sunday.

At his Wednesday press conference, Colts interim head coach Bruce Arians delivered a swift kick to the nuts for anyone with Donald Brown on their fantasy roster:

With Brown now out, this means fans can expect a steady rotation of rookie Vick Ballard and second-year back Delone Carter.

Brown's injury is a shame. I've bashed him for his whole career because he has been maddeningly inconsistent, but this year things seemed to be turning around a bit.

Look for Ballard to start and Carter to come in on goal-line situations. Mewelde Moore could see increased snaps on passing downs.

Arians also told media that Robert Mathis, Pat Angerer, Fili Moala, and Martin Tevaseu are questionable for Sunday's game against New York.
