The Colts continue to fiddle and tinker with their practice squad. Yesterday, they added Mario Addison (who they cut from the active roster on Monday). Today, per Phil Richards:
#Colts add DE Clifton Geathers, 6th-rnd pick of Browns in 2010, to practice squad. Geathers (6-7, 325) played 5 games for Cowboys last yr..

Geathers is a monster. I'm actually kind of amazed he's listed as a DE. He's taller and bigger than Antonio Johnson (6'3, 320 lbs), and Mookie (Johnson's nickname, in case you didn't know) is the team's nose tackle.
Geathers played his college ball at South Carolina. A beautifully edited college highlight video is below for your viewing pleasure.
Though you can never assume anything with practice squad players, it is certainly possible (unlikely, but possible) that Geathers will earn a spot on the active 53. I keep doing a double-take when I see his height and weight. It's almost an insult to call him a DE. Remember the days when the team's defensive tackles were 6'0, 265 lbs?
Yeah, those are looooooooooooooooooooooong gone.
[UPDATE]: To make room for Geathers, the Colts released NT Nicolas Jean-Baptiste from the PS. A shame. I thought that kid could stick with the team.
