Hello Colts fans!
I am sure I am not the first one to point out that, this time of season last year, two teams had 0-7 records: The Colts and the Dolphins. Both of our teams are now at 4-3, with rookie QBs bringing excitement in their wake.
This is the post where you get to ask questions to Miami Dolphins fans. I love learning about the upcoming opponent, as it makes the games that much more enjoyable and I find that it is the fans who can best help me. I may not be the most insightful of fans, but I will try and answer your questions if you have them. Hopefully, some other fans will come over and answer your questions as well. There will probably also be the official SB Nation Blog stuff (the Google+ chat and the five questions posts), but I thought I would get started here anyway.
I am very excited about your team. We all knew Andrew Luck would be special, and he looks it. I also root for FIU and am incredibly jealous about TY Hilton.
As for our team, let me give you a few starting points:
Tannehill has been playing quite well. Despite only having 19 games at QB in college, he, at times, does not look like a rookie. That being said, I think the real tests will be down the line especially next season when teams get more film on him. Additionally, he is injured and is listed as uncertain for this game.
Our strength has been the defense. Although we give up a decent amount of yards a game, especially through the air, our 3rd down defense is one of the best in the league, as is our RZ defense, and we have a very strong Run D.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Just a final two points: Feel free to send someone over to thephinsider.com to make a similar post there. I will definitely ask questions, and I know plenty of others will as well.
Also, everyone who follows football was saddened at the news about Chuck Pagano. Cancer is a terrible illness. It took has taken a few people in my family. One of our members at thephinsider.com (Ohiofinsfan4life) will be riding in the Dolphins Cycling Challenge this weekend which is raising money this year for cancer research (if you are interested in supporting this check out this link).
I am hoping for a great injury free game.
