This post is not in response to the loss to the Patriots yesterday, but i have been prognosticating for some weeks now. My basic premise is, where is the hybrid ? It was my understanding that that meant we would use some 4 - 3 looks. We know there are issues in our secondary. Why cant we play some Tampa Two. Not the way we used to play it allowing 8 yard completions at will. You can still mix in press coverage in that scheme. I really think we have a chance to get into the playoffs, but we are letting ourselves get exposed too often . Way to many home runs ! We are really thin back there, help them. We have some depth at linebacker , this could work. The fact that we are now a 3- 4 defense and we have to take our lumps i don't agree with. This is a sure way to miss the playoffs and get Luck killed as he has to put up huge numbers to keep us in games.

My second thought is that i have a man crush Delone Carter . I agree Ballard is playing excellent ,and i"m on the fence with Brown. But i need to see more of this guy . There is no arm tackling him and he has shown the ability to bounce it outside. What he does bring to the party that the other two don't , is his power to punish the tacklers. This is what they did in Pittsburgh with Bettis and they were known as a power football team who through it deep. I cant be the only one who sees this potential. Frustrated !!!
