More Clarity on Peyton's Injury
This was just on NFL network. It is probably the best concise clear picture I have heard on Peyton's injury. It also is from a "real" expert on the subject. This doctor does 150 fusion surgeries a year. He clears up a lot of the misconceptions many in the media have been perpetuating. He makes the same claim I found in the study quoted in my previous post. This surgery has a good recovery rate.
This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of Stampede Blue's writers or editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of Stampede Blue's writers or editors.

To be fair, the questions isn’t whether Peyton will recover. The question is will Peyton recover AND be able to be an NFL quarterback at a high level.
The latter is entirely unknown and the reason the Colts will probably part ways with Manning. (though there is a slim chance of Manning resigning with an incentive laden contract.)
