Two more colts assistants
The defensive backs coach will be Mike Gillhamer from the University of Illinois. He has NFL experience as he was with the Carolina Panthers for several years. http://www.footballscoop.com/the-scoop
The offensive assistant Joe Gilbert was the announcement via the Indianapolis Star. He was supposed to be the offensive coordinator for UAB. http://www.indystar.com/article/20120213/SPORTS03/120213036/Colts-hire-Joe-Gilbert-offensive-assistant

These two coaches are in addition to Gary Emanual, the new defensive line coach from Purdue, who has not been officially announced other the foxsports.com.

Thanks for that update.
Hard to tell if I should be excited, depressed, or just ho-hum about these hires.

How many wins this coming season ??
I was thinking about how many wins to hope for this coming season. Of course I will hope the Colts will be in contention for a playoff spot at the end of the season but…lets say the offense improves a bit and the defense improves a bit, maybe double this years total and get 4 wins will be considered positive? Any more wins would be a small miracle. Any comments ?
IMO
Around 5 – 11
IN our division we can go 2-4 at the very best (0-2 v. texans, 1-1/0-2 v. Titans, 1-1 v. Jags)
We play the AFC East too, (1-3 is probable)
NFC North (1-3) win v. VIkings
Browns – prob win (1-0)
Chiefs – prob a loss (0-1)
So if you add it together you get 5-11 as a fairly reasonable area. I obviously can’t be sure but that would be my educated guess
I think predicting wins/losses at this point is difficult...
It depends on how fast we can fix the defense. How good will Luck and the rest of the offense be this year? Will the coaching be improved significantly? We do have a last place schedule which helps. I think 4-5 wins would be a reasonable guess, but it depends on who we keep, sign, and draft.
i think 6-10 is a realistic goal
this “rebuilding” think will likely take 3 years in my opinion, so 6-10, maybe 9-7 the following year and then back to the 12-win seasons (i hope).
