Peyton Cleared NOW WHAT?!?!

Now that Peyton has been cleared to resume his career, what do we do with the first pick? Do we take Luck? Do we trade for more picks and hope Manning stays healthy, Maybe get Blackmon? If we do trade for picks do you think we are able to get back to where we were with just a couple additions and a brand new coaching staff? IMO i think we still take Luck. If we are switching to the 3-4 it's going to take time. Maybe 8 weeks into the season maybe 2-3 years. Peyton doesn't have that much time, he has to win and win now.

Agreed - I don't think this changes the Colts' plans...

Take Luck, let go of Manning.

Build the defense/O-Line through the draft and Free Agency.

Set the Colts up for another 12 years of success.

Wish Peyton Manning the best of luck (no pun intended) wherever he ends up – Miami or Arizona.

I don’t think any of us are privy to “the Colts’ plans.”

Or did you slip a bug into Irsay’s boardroom?

I see great things in baseball. It's our game - the American game. It will take our people out-of-doors, fill them with oxygen, give them a larger physical stoicism. Tend to relieve us from being a nervous, dyspeptic set. Repair these losses, and be a blessing to us. ~Walt Whitman

Really?

Did our Owner and GM not say we are entering a new era? A rebuilding mode? Did Irsay not suggest that we will take a QB (Luck) with the #1 overall pick? Did our O.C. not suggest that we will have a new QB in 2012? Did we not just hire a D.C. (with secondary experience) as our new Head Coach to help re-build our defense and transition to a 3-4 hybrid scheme?

Jeez, I didn’t realize I was being so presumptuous.

Other than nostalgia

Why would any Peyton fan want him to play on this team? They suck to the tune of a 2-14 season. I want Peyton to be successful. He can’t reach his goals here. It’s best that goes elsewhere. I will be rooting for him wherever he goes.
